Trinene who emphasizes on the value of education to her youth, recently received an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Divinity – Humanitarian Social Service from Heart Bible Institute University 2019 and she acquired a dual Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology at Charter Oak State College. She also earned her Associates Degree in Communications at Manchester Community College and is an Alumnus of Tunxis Community College. In 2013, Trinene has had the great honor to be inducted on the Charter Oak College Alumni Board Association in which she still presently is an active member of. She is an active member of the NAACP New Britain Branch, where she chairs the Education Committee.

She is a published children’s book author, national speaker, youth coach, motivational speaker, career coach, personal growth coach, instructor, storyteller, entrepreneur, community advocate, and a proud mother who has actively worked as a mentor for kids, adolescents and adults in the various communities in schools, churches, youth organizations, and libraries for over 30 years.

Trinene is the host and executive producer of her teen talk show here in Connecticut. The Trendy Teen Talk Show, Tastefully Created Food Show and New Britain NAACP Branch “The People’s Mic” that’s televised on Nutmeg TV channel 5 on and also streaming on You Tube, Amazon Prime and Roku. The shows are geared to inspire, motivate and be informative to the youths and adults viewers.

She also founded “Your Soul Purpose Youth Awards” (YSP), that honors and celebrates the youth for their accomplishments and contribution in making a positive difference in their lives, the lives of others and in their communities. Trinene is also a co-host on Dj Chopsilver Fox Urban Podcast – Why Not Right Now Media.

Trinene is a 2017 recipient of the 100 Women of Color Awards for the State of Connecticut. In 2018 she was also honored by the NAACP with the highest award awarded in Humanitarian. This was giving to her for all of the work that she does in the community. In 2025 she was recently honored and awarded with a national award from POWER. Trinene believes that every person is the author of their own story in life. Giving them a pen and a sense of direction, guidance, support and tools will empowering them to create, grow and discovering their soul purpose in life.

If you thought that was enough, she isn’t yet. Trinene is proud to be apart of an anthology with other talented authors to share their journeys through writing stories to inspire others to overcome challenges and to find hope, faith and strength which hope to be publish in 2026. To add to her journey she is excited to venture into radio something that she has always wanted to do. As a proud new member of Power Muzic Radio Station with the launch of her newly created radio show “LOL with Ms. T Fearlessly Living Out Loud”. The show will inspire, uplift and empower listeners by celebrating resilience, encouraging personal growth, community and by providing a space where you can embrace their authentic selves and thrive with the urban vibes.
